Hustle for the House Event

Date: September 16, 2023

Join us for the “Hustle for the House” 5k and 1-mile fun-run! This event welcomes runners and walkers from all backgrounds, irrespective of age or skill level. And guess what? You can even sign up with your furry pal, Fido! The race commences and concludes at the Nashville Ronald McDonald House, taking you through the picturesque and certified route of the Hillsboro West End Neighborhood. Embrace the vibe – feel free to don your best disco outfits! Registration fees are as follows: $29 for the 5K, $19 for the 1-mile Fun Run, and just $10 for your beloved “Fido”.

Join us on Saturday, September 30th, 2023 for the Music City Run for Dyslexia. Participants will enjoy a certified 5K and 10K journey alongside the scenic Cumberland River and through Shelby Bottoms, a picturesque and shaded greenway in Nashville. Additionally, we’re featuring a 1 Mile Dyslexia Dash suitable for participants of all ages. This event is proudly presented by Learning Matters, a charitable institution dedicated to enabling K-12 students with dyslexia and other learning challenges to achieve academic success and personal growth. We’re committed to offering premier assessment, tutoring, and advocacy services.

Our mission encompasses encouraging physical fitness, fostering resilience to stress and trauma, and enhancing social and emotional skills through cultivating a passion for running and exercise.

How does my ticket purchase contribute?

Your ticket purchase directly supports Move! Music City’s mission for the 2023-2024 school year. Funds raised during our Fall Fitness Fundraiser will be used to acquire meaningful incentive prizes for our student partners, rewarding them as they increase their exercise and engagement with our programs.

Is it possible to purchase a ticket at the door?

Absolutely! While tickets can be purchased at the door, we kindly encourage you to pre-purchase them if possible. This helps us prepare and provide the best possible experience for all attendees.

Where should I park my vehicle?

We have arranged FREE parking for all attendees in the garage of 500 11th Ave. N. building. The parking garage is off 11th Ave, between the Hampton Inn and the 500 office building.

What should I bring with me?

Please remember to bring your water bottle to stay hydrated. Everything else you’ll need for an amazing experience will be provided!
